 Cordez D Hazelwood was born in Richmond VA  May 23 1990  MCV Hospital Richmond VA raised in his Hometown Victoria VA Cordez (Dezzae ) Singer, Songwriter , Performer , actor and model at age 25 relocated to Lynchburg VA 2015.  Then relocated to the Hampton Roads area in the summer of 2019 at age 29 he began singing. In church  at age 5 singing in competitions through out school years and college years . He began  writing music at age 17 and began recording at age 19. Dezzae auditioned  for xfactor USA in Greensboro NC 2012 made it to the second round. 2014 Dezzae was offered a recording contract from the gospel legend Dorothy Norwood. Dezzae declined the offer due to his mother health declining he choose to be the care taker for his mother. Dezzae auditioned for American Idol singing competition in Richmond VA made it to the second round months later. Dezzae mother passed away Dec 12th 2014 .Dezzae took a break from music started back  recording and releasing music in 2017 on sound cloud . 2022 Dezzae things began to take off for Dezzae by performing all around  the Hampton roads area and in the 804 area.  Also In Maryland and Washington D.C networking and releasing singles for the 1st time on all streaming platforms threw distrokid tunes such as 

“It’s Like That “Ft Pokerface , “Can’t Leave You Alone”

“Time” and “Floor” all in the same year of 2022. Dezzae 1st music video “ It’s Like That" Ft Pokerface released in September of  2022. Dezzae was selected after auditioning for  VPCCVA  commercial  in 2022 commercial still airs on channel 10. Also  selected to be a print model for VPCCVA amazing experience for Dezzae music performed well over seas  in UK and Paris as well as the U.S. 2023 Dezzae had another great year  by still performing and riding  high off the success of his  singles from 2022 by performing  and networking. Summer of 2023 Dezzae released his powerful story telling Gospel  contemporary  inspirational hit tilted "I'm Good" in 2024 Dezzae gained his 1st .Television interview and performance on Wavy 10 The Hampton Roads Show TV show where he performed his single  " I'm Good " . Aired on channel 10 along  with his second television interview and performance on. Living 757tv performing his 2022 hit titled " Cant Leave You Alone " aired on tv on the YurView Network. (Hampton Roads Cox Channel 60, Roanoke Cox Channel 9, NOVA Cox Channel 74/77). A week apart from 1st Television interview and performance on Wavy 10 Hampton Roads Show channel 10. Dezzae continues to perform, write and record music. Dezzae has an old school style with a versatile approach with his songwriting and singing abilities he loves all types of music and can be versatile. Dezzae's influences are Gerald LeVert, Mary J Blige , Joe , R- Kelly, H-Town, Intro ( Kenny Greene) Fantasia , Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey , Teddy Pendergrass, Christopher Williams , Heavy D , Missy  Elliot and Aaliyah.
