King Dragon was born and raised in The small North Carolina City of Lumberton. He was faced with hardship early in life when his mother passed when he was only 4 days old. This was a harsh reality to grow up knowing that he would never get to know him mother but that never stopped him from growing and pursuing a music career. King Dragon uses different styles of music to express the different events and emotions he has dealt with in his life. He does this while remembering to make music that the masses can relate to. King Dragon always wants to stay original and creative using melodies and great word play to paint the most vivid pictures using words.
